A simple and honest answer like 鈥渨e do not have that option鈥?is better than marketing fluff. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions. Reviews that mention long term use are more valuable than comments written on day one. I do not trust only the star rating, I like to see detailed photos and longer comments. Sometimes I even measure an existing frame with a ruler before ordering anything new. Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos.
